The Asian Community Development Council (ACDC) held its first free vaccination clinic on Saturday, July 24, 2022.
The community was invited to get free COVID-19 vaccinations and participated in a Thai food fair at Wat Buddhapradeep Thai temple in Reno.
Pfizer-BioNTec and Moderna vaccines have been proposed for the first, second and booster COVID-19. Pediatric doses of Pfizer were offered for children 5 to 11 years old.
They also had speakers of different Asian languages available to help people who don’t speak English.
The vaccination clinic was hosted by ACDC in partnership with Immunize Nevada and OptimuMedicine.
